The terrain pieces are printed on the same 50"x60" felt sheet as your main battlefield. Cut them out with scissors or cloth cutter, then arrange them on the 3'x3' play surface however your scenario demands. Stream running diagonally? Place it there. Farm fields in the corner? Done. Marsh across the middle? You control it.

Every Saga Forge scenario tells you which pieces to use and where to place them. But these pieces work for any Dark Ages game - Viking raids, Saxon shield walls, Irish cattle raids, whatever you're running.

Scale flexibility:

Optimized for 28mm miniatures (standard for The Saga Forge), but works perfectly with 15mm through 1/32 scale figures. One mat covers multiple collections.

Designed specifically for The Saga Forge campaign scenarios, but adaptable to any Dark Ages skirmish game.
